The curry bowl is made out of mahogany wood by Sri lankan gifted Craftman. No you can serve you guest with a sustanble and a esthatic way with these mahogany wood bowls.

This mahogany wood bowl is 8 inch in to diameter and 3 inch in height. It can hold around 750-1000ml of volume. This also can used to serve rice , salads or deserts to the dinning table. 

Usage instructions
Do not put hot water in to the bowl warm liquid wood be ok. Do not dry the bowl in hot sun. its applied will a layer of bee-wax and washing can wash it away.  to regain the natural shine , bee-wax or coconut oil can be applied.
wash , clean well with a dry cloth and air dry it. Too much moisture could be a cause of fungus in the wood, cleaning with sanitizer can get it away. 

The bowl can be 0.5 inch + or - from the given dimensions. The color in the picture will not be the same color that you receive as the wood color could change.
